Tashi Delek to all. It gives me great pleasure to inform you that we at Kunphen center for substance dependence and HIV is came up with a magazine for teenagers. The main aim of this magazine is that we want to reach young adults how are in different schools and college. From past many months we have been trying to go to Tibetan schools, to train young and interested teenager to become peer educators. In this way we thought we will be able to reach many Tibetan teenagers and able to tell about that facts about HIV/AIDS and drugs. But due to differences in schools time table, we are not able to initiate any of the programs.

We do respect schools time table and we know there have lots of different thing the child need to learn in the schools apart from our topics. We thought of a solution, in which will not disturb school’s activities and students will be able to learn about the drugs and HIV/AIDS. Besides these two issues, we believe there are lots of different problems which lead them to use drugs or lead them to indulge in to risk behaviors.

We though this magazine will teach many Tibetan teenager who are scattered all over the globe about the drugs, HIV/AIDS, teen pregnancy, and all the other issue face by today’s teens. I am here by sending you the soft copy of the magazine’s first edition.

I am requesting you all to give me sincere and developmental suggestion about this magazine. Thank you for your supports and I hope you all will help me to continue this magazine.
