Here in Kunphen we provide following counseling service for people effect by substance abuse and HIV/AIDS. You can either visit our office or call us if you have any issues relating to Substances abuse and HIV/AIDS. If you prefer to visit us for counseling, you are request to call us to make an appointment so that we will have a fix date for you and your family members.

• Family counseling..

Family counseling is for the family member of a person who is effect by substance misuse or infected with HIV/AIDS. The main purpose of this counseling sessions are to facilitate you to look to into the issues that you face so that we can help you to overcome the issue and make a path towards better understanding and treatment. We might call your family member for several family counseling sessions or individual sessions which we might think fit as per the issues..

• Group counseling..

In this group counseling we call upon the people with same problems. The main purpose of this group counseling session is to create a therapeutic community and a group support system. The number of sessions might differ as per the group’s requirement. In each group we have more than three members plus a staff who will be the facilitator for the sessions.   Members are request to be friendly with the group members and give active participation during the group activities.

• Individual counseling..

Each beneficiary would be assign to a counselor for the individual counseling sessions. There would be complete privacy for the sessions. There will be complete confidentiality for any statement made during the sessions. Individual counseling sessions are schedule twice a week but beneficiary might ask for more sessions but it is subjected to the availability of the counselor.

We would be documenting every sessions held here in Kunphen, but that is just for the record and it will be use only for treatment purpose. Only your counselor has access to those documentation and this would be use as legal statement.
